Picking Up The Pace

These past 2 weeks have been absolutely crazy! I had several tests and assignments, however I am very happy with how I finished these 9 weeks. In ISM, I submitted Research Assessment #14, gave feedback for websites, and set up and conducted an interview.
In Research Assessment #14, I discussed the work that I have done for my Final Product. This included reflecting on my research, creating my slideshow, and listing what I wanted to include in my product design. In my product, I want to focus on the sensorial experience and incorporate a design that embodies me and my “brand”. I also described what I hope to accomplish with this product and why it is so significant to me. Ultimately, I want to emphasize how a product is a reflection of the brand and how this ties into market success.
I also purchased a sketchbook to start drawing my product. I believe this will help me visualize my product and give me a clear idea of what I want my product to look like. Then, I reached out to professionals in the companies Lash Next Door and CADY Studios.
Ms. Berry helped me connect with Joshua Stewart, the Digital Marketing Manager of CADY. I had a great time discussing the importance of having a creative eye in the marketing industry and CADY’s mission to make the photography experience a memorable one. I especially loved learning about how CADY appeals to all of their consumers, especially their employees. Mr. Stewart also referred me to one of the CADY Brand Managers and I am excited to connect with her this coming week. I had a great time chatting with Mr. Stewart and look forward to connecting with him in the future!
Another task I completed was providing peer feedback on my peers’ Digital Portfolios. I liked getting to see other people’s visually appealing websites. It spurred me into thinking how I could further enhance my website and I loved learning more about their decision to pursue this topic this year in ISM.
Time has just flown by, but I am beyond excited to continue working hard!
