Almost to the Finish Line

I have dedicated these past 3 weeks to both resting and working. I had an amazing spring break that was filled with relaxation and productivity. I read some new books, spent time working on some school work, and took plenty of naps. 

Before spring break, we had our campus-wide showcase during first and second period. I enjoyed explaining my plans for the rest of this year and talking with students interested in pursuing psychology as a career field. I loved discussing the main themes of psychology as it is applicable to many careers and why it is important to me personally. It was also fun getting to see my friends and explain what I have worked on this past year. 

For my Final Product Progress assessment, I included my work on my slideshow and its significance to me, interview notes, final product log, and my Final Product assessment. Through my assessment, I explained how I hope to spend more time designing my product and creating it, rather than the research that it entails. I reflected on the interviews I conducted.with both Mr. Joshua Stewart and Ms. Sasha-Gay Trusty to explain the main takeaways from my conversations with them.

We have started the preparation for Final Presentation night and created our invitation and guest list. I modeled my invitation off of our example to accurately include all of the information and compiled a list of people who I would love to invite to see the culmination of all my work. 

In regards to my Final Product, I have not done as much as I’d like, but I am looking forward to working extra hard this week to meet all of my goals. This includes sketching my product, working on my slideshow, and editing my slideshow and script for Final Presentation Night. 

There is not that much time left before the ISM year comes to an end, what a journey it has been!
