Back to Reality!

Hello again! My family and I spent our holiday season in our home country of the Philippines and just recently returned. The trip was a blast! I had so much fun seeing my family again and making some incredible memories. Words don’t do the experience justice, and I’m so looking forward to when we go back! However, it’s time to get out of vacation mode and back into an academic mindset. This week was a productive week that helped me get back into a routine after a long break. I edited my Original Work planning document and my Original Work itself, revised my Interview Assessment #2, and messaged one of my ISM 2 friends. 

To help enhance my Original Work of a presentation, I created a planning document that includes the things I wanted to include in my Original Work, my outline/structure, and an overall brain dump of information. It was extremely helpful to have all of my information in one place and write short notes detailing future steps for my Original Work. This planning document helped me edit my Original Work as I labeled my slides and started including information for several slides.

I also looked over notes that I took during my second interview with Ms. Samantha Berry and added knowledge I gained from our interview to my Interview Assessment #2. This helped me reflect on what we discussed and look at information to add to my Original Work.

Lastly, I messaged my friend Emma who I met at the ISM Business Symposium and discussed her journey in ISM 2. She mentioned how ISM 2 provides wonderful leadership opportunities and how the class work is easier as ISM has provided a foundation for work done in ISM 2. I am grateful for her insight and am so glad ISM has helped me meet so many wonderful people!

This year has just started, but I am so looking forward to what it will bring!
