We’re Back!

These past 2 weeks were such a blast! The 9 weeks ended and it was a relief to wrap up all of the tests and assignments that were due. I also enjoyed spending quality time with my loved ones and relaxing over Spring Break. 

I spent time editing my Digital Portfolio and double checked it with the rubric, ensuring that I had all the necessary components the week before Spring Break. I also shared my Digital Portfolio and Digital Portfolio feedback form to Ms. Berry during our Mentor Visit. Additionally, during our Mentor Visit, we discussed the results of my Newspaper staffer survey. I discussed a question regarding the anonymity of the survey, and she reassured me that keeping the survey anonymous is suitable. I also talked to her about the Evidence of Learning #3 that I completed the previous week about our Mentor Visit and the events I highlighted in our discussion. We discussed how the events I wrote about in my assessment will help me further enhance my presentation with her feedback. I clarified the simulated FOIA topic that I hope to focus on: library funding.

During the break, I planned to work on my Final Product, however I decided to give myself the break to rest and did not end up working on it. I strive to finish my Final Product by the end of this week so that I have ample time to prepare to present to students and gain Ms. Berry’s feedback for Final Product improvement. This also allows me to rehearse what I would like to say when I present and give a well thought-out presentation overall. I did spend time thinking about future steps and I planned out what I would like to discuss with Ms. Berry during our next meeting.

A new marking period brings new beginnings, and I am so excited for all of the fun adventures ahead!
